Tesselate
Controls the tessellation of Path by inserting evenly spaced points along its length. The Distance Between Points determines how frequently these points are placed.
- Errant Paths 1.2 and later
- Errant Paths 1.1 and prior
Add the Tesselate adjustment to the list of Path Adjustments in the PathDescription and then configure it, as described in Procedural Adjustments.
The Distance Between Points property is set in the Path Adjustment category of the PathDescription.
tip
Use a high enough density to accurately capture the shape of the Path and ensure reliable placement results. Each generated point stores metadata about the surrounding section of the Path. Labels use this metadata to determine where meshes and components should be placed.
