Trial
Trial Period
During the trial, you are granted 5 seats. This allows up to five team members to use the toolset concurrently during the evaluation period. If you are evaluating the plugins within a collaborative project, please follow our teamwork guidelines.
Upgrading to the Paid Version
Transitioning from a trial to a paid license typically does not require a full reinstallation, depending on your license type:
- No Source Code (Precompiled): Simply enter your new license key via the Help button within the plugin’s Editor Mode.
- Source Code License: You will need to remove the existing plugins and replace them with the newly downloaded plugins that contain the source code.
Trial Expiration
When the trial ends, you retain full ownership of the content and worlds you have created. While you will no longer be able to enter the plugin's Editor Mode (preventing further generation or editing), most plugin-native classes will continue to function as expected.
If you choose to disable or uninstall the plugins after the trial, please note the following:
Errant Landscape: Sculpted landscapes will remain intact, but Errant Landscape brushes will be removed.
Errant Biomes: Spawned biomes utilize plugin-specific actor and component classes. To preserve them without the plugin, you must regenerate the biomes using Unreal base actor/component classes. This can be configured in your Species prior to uninstallation.
Errant Paths: To maintain Paths without the plugin, you must add Core Redirects to map the plugin’s actor/component classes to their Unreal Engine equivalents. Reach out to us for more details.
If you decide not to continue using the plugins, we would greatly appreciate your feedback. Please drop us a few lines via email or Discord to help us guide the development in the right direction. We might also be able to help you with the issues you experienced.
